The Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth, along with our friends at the National Juvenile Defender Center, were the beneficiaries of JusticeAid 2016 last night, May 16th, at the historic Lincoln Theatre on U Street in Washington, DC. Local go-go legends Trouble Funk joined Grammy-winning Ozomatli in throwing a party to remember, with all benefits benefiting the CFSY and NJDC.

Learn more about Justice Aid

JusticeAid was formed in 2013 when a group of current and retired legal professionals in Washington, D.C. organized around a simple but profound idea – using music and the arts to raise awareness for a legal and social justice crisis affecting our society.

JusticeAid organizes live music and arts events around the nation to benefit charities that help increase access to opportunity and justice, raising money to stage each event and then donating 100% of ticket sales to beneficiary-partners. From Washington to New Orleans, JusticeAid has raised thousands of dollars for causes working hard to expand equality, opportunity, and justice for everyone.
